These boy's southern style moccasins were made by local artist, Julia Whitestar. Finished with commercial white buckskin, red latigo soles and size 11/0 seed beads.
Because our moccasins are not custom made to fit, we have found that the most accurate way to insure sizing is to measure. Put your ruler up against a wall and put your foot on top of the ruler, touching your heel to the wall. Stand directly on top of the ruler and look straight down. This is the size of moccasin you will need. If you wear socks with your moccasins, add no more than 1/2 to what you measured. Children are fast growers. I recommend adding 1/2” to their measurement as well.
